![]() Sessions are Tuesday-Friday for 2 weeks, 45 minutes daily Saturday mornings are make-up days due to inclement weather and/or home swim meets. Swimmers will also have the option to participate in more advanced courses. Level 6: Swimming and Skill Proficiency: Students will learn to swim easily and efficiently, and gain the ability to swim smoothly over greater distances. Level 5: Stroke Refinement: Guidance allows kids to refine their strokes and become more efficient swimmers. Level 4: Stroke Improvement: Kids will gain confidence during swim lessons, improve their stroke and gain additional aquatic skills. Level 3: Stroke Development: Additional guided practice will help students improve their skills. Parents are not required to be in the pool. Teaches children water safety and basic swimming skills. Preschool: 3 & 4 years of age: A fun class for this special age group. Teaches children at a young age to feel comfortable in the water while teaching parents games and songs to play with their children. Parent/Child: 6 months-3 years of age: Parents must accompany the child in the water. The Trails Recreation Center is a 78,000 square foot community recreation facility that offers a wide variety of adult, youth and senior recreation activities including, but not limited to, group and one on one fitness instruction, group and one on one swim instruction, group and one on one athletics instruction, cultural and leisure activities such as art, pottery, dance, music, theatre. Registration begins: May 2 registration ends on the Thursday before class begins or when the class is full (whichever comes first).
